Day 54  Lands End to Plymouth

Not really the 'finish'!

Not really the ‘finish’!

Reasonable ride back to Penzance despite huge potato trucks on the narrow lanes.   Chatted with v. enthusiastic man at station.   Had celebratory egg and chips, wrote postcards and blogs – sunshine now!!!   Caught train to Plymouth, very friendly staff again on train.   “Beep” found great route from station in Plymouth to Port.   Heavens opened and we and a convoy of motorcyclists were offered shelter in freight office.   Supper and bed on board the ferry.
